The federally funded Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) offers a maximum $30 a month discount on High-Speed Home Internet for qualifying households.  Affordable Internet service varies from $10-$30 a month – so after the discount is applied, Home Internet may be free.

This benefit is expected to last for 4 to 5 years.  Those with Lifeline mobile benefits can also get ACP benefits.

Eligible Consumers Can Receive

• Up to $30 per month discount on any Home Internet service offered by the providers.
• Up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal Lands.
• One-time discount up to $100 for a computer or a tablet (offered in California by human-I-T) when consumers enroll in the discount program.

Steps To Receive Your Benefit 

Step 1:
Check If You Qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).
See if your household fits into one of the eligible categories below.

Important Tip:  If you have Lifeline benefits already, you do NOT need to apply for ACP.  You qualify automatically, just let the Home Internet Provider of your choice know you have Lifeline now.  Call us at 866-696-8748 and we can help you compare your options or call the provider directly.  

Step 2: 
Apply for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).
Call or go online and submit all necessary documents.

IMPORTANT TIP:  The name on your ID document must match the name on the application and the document determining your eligibility.  If you already have an Internet account, it must match the name on your ID and the application.

Step 3:
Find an Internet Provider Near You.
After you have submitted the ACP application and received approval for ACP, use the search tool at www.everyoneon.org/CETF to find Internet Providers in your area.

Customers without Home Internet.
Call us at 866-696-8748 and we can help you compare your options or call the provider directly.  

Customers with Home Internet.
Check with your current provider to see what ACP offers are available with ACP.

IMPORTANT TIP:  The maximum ACP benefit is $30 a month, and can be used for any Home Internet service plan offered by your provider.

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) can aid residents in a variety of situations, including some residents who may be experiencing difficulty finding employment or accessing educational resources due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 
The best way to see if you qualify is to call or apply today!  

1. Complete ACP application first with any supporting documentation required for the application. 

2. Once approved, contact a participating Home Internet Service Provider by entering your zip code at www.everyoneon.org/CETF or call a California Community Organization, Toll Free at 1-866-696-8748.

• Having an affordable home Internet connection is critical to stay informed and in contact with friends and family during the COVID-19 emergency and always. Several Internet Service Providers offer low-cost, affordable Home Internet for qualifying low-income households. For the most up-to-date information, we recommend visiting www.EveryoneOn.org/cetf. 

• For a limited time, Comcast is offering 2-months of free Internet for households that are new subscribers and other conditions apply. Comcast does not allow existing customers to downgrade their services.

• Several companies, including AT&T, Charter/Spectrum, Comcast, Cox, Frontier, T-Mobile, and other ISPs have different policies on service termination, late fees, and data cap waivers.
