Low-cost refurbished computers are available to individuals or groups. Computers for Classrooms was started in 1991 as a volunteer program to refurbish donated computers for schools. The non-profit serves schools, college students, senior citizens, low-income families and non-profits.

Computers and Prices
• For computers and laptops prices range from $100-$250.
• Shipping charges apply for orders under 10 computers.
• Estimated shipping: $10 - $20 to locations.
• Printers: $50. Accessories are also available.
• All refurbished desktop computers come with a 19" LCD Monitor, USB keyboard and mouse, keyboard, Windows 10 Pro, Microsoft Office 2010, anti-virus, anti-malware and a 1-Year warranty.

• 4 GB RAM desktops; 250 GB hard drive.
• 6 GB, SSD or 500 GB hard drive.
• Microsoft Office installed.
• Includes mouse, keyboard, desktop monitor chords, power chord for laptops. Additional accessories are also available.
• 1-Year hardware warranty for computers and laptops

Tech Exchange connects families with computers, internet access, and the digital skills necessary to improve and enhance their lives. Serving Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, and Santa Clara Counties, Tech Exchange provides free or low-cost devices and tech support to eligible participants.

Computers and Prices
Please confirm that your household has either signed up for low-cost internet service or receives one of the following benefits in order to qualify for a free computer:

• School Free and Reduced Price Meal Program
• CalFresh Program
• Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
• HUD Subsidized Affordable Housing Resident

Price Range: Free or sliding scale $50-$500 depending on eligibility and inventory.
