The federally funded Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) offers a maximum $30 a month discount on High-Speed Home Internet for qualifying households.  Affordable Internet service varies from $10-$30 a month–so after the discount is applied, Home Internet may be free.

This benefit is expected to last for 4 to 5 years.  Those with Lifeline mobile benefits can also get ACP benefits.

Eligible Consumers Can Receive

  • Up to $30 per month discount on any Home Internet service offered by the providers.
  • Up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal Lands.
  • One-time discount up to $100 for a computer or a tablet (offered in California by human-I-T) when consumers enroll in the discount program.

Steps To Receive Your Benefit 

Step 1:
Check If You Qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).
See if your household fits into one of the eligible categories below.

Important: You can keep your Lifeline benefit for a mobile phone and get the ACP for a discount on your home Internet service.

Step 2:
Apply for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).
Call or go online and submit all necessary documents. 
Call 866-696-8748 or apply online at www.internetforallnow.org/applytoday.

IMPORTANT TIP:  The name on your ID document must match the name on the application and the document determining your eligibility.  If you already have an Internet account, it must match the name on your ID and the application.

Step 3:
Find an Internet Provider Near You.
After you have submitted the ACP application and received approval for ACP, use the search tool at www.everyoneon.org/CETF to find Internet Providers in your area.

Customers without Home Internet can call us at 866-696-8748 and a community organization can help you compare your options when you are ready.

IMPORTANT TIP:  If you have Lifeline benefits already, you can apply for ACP.  Call the Home Internet Provider you prefer or call us at 866-696-8748 and we can to help you compare your options.

Customers with Home Internet
Check with your current provider to see what ACP offers are available with ACP.

IMPORTANT TIP:  The maximum ACP benefit is $30 a month, and can be used for any Internet service offered by your provider.

Customers Who Want to Change Internet Providers

How Do I Qualify?

To qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) discount, at least one (1) person in your household must meet at least one (1) of the criteria listed below: 

Participant in the FCC’s Lifeline Program
Household with a child enrolled CEP School Designated by the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) 
Recipient of CalFresh (food stamp) or Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) 
Recipient of Medi-Cal or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) 
Student with a Pell Grant 
Recipient of Federal Public Housing Assistance Household
Household of 4 earning $53,000 or less a year
Recipient of the Women, Children and Infant Benefit
Participant in Tribal Programs for Residents on Qualifying Tribal Lands 
Recipient of the Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance 
Recipient of Tribal TANF 
Participant in Tribal Head Start (must meet relevant income qualifying standard) 
Recipient of a Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations

The best way to see if you qualify is to call or apply today!  

  1. Complete ACP application first with any supporting documentation required for the application. 
  2. Once approved, contact a participating Internet Service Provider by entering your zip code at at www.everyoneon.org/CETF or call a California Community Organization, Toll Free at 1-866-696-8748.
