ACP Toolkit

There are still millions of eligible households in California that have not signed up for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). This federally-funded program helps income-eligible households substantially reduce the high cost of quality Home Internet.

Ensuring broadband access for these individuals and families helps boost their access to vital resources in healthcare, education, employment and civic engagement. To help spread the word, CETF has created a special resource for organizations working with these households. Designed for nonprofit organizations, educational institutions and other local partners, the CETF ACP Toolkit provides outreach and education assets that are both customizable and easy to use.

Toolkit resources include:

ACP Awareness Posts

Designed for use on Facebook and Twitter, these posts engage specific audiences — such as college students, seniors or families receiving government assistance — while providing information on ACP benefits and eligibility (English, Spanish).

Web Banner Ads

In animated gif format, these ads come in a variety of sizes and can be used on your organization’s social media pages or website (English, Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese).

Flyers

Ready-to-download 4-color handouts provide essential information to help consumers determine eligibility and apply for benefits. A QR code offers easy online access. (English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese).

Newsletter Text

The toolkit also provides easy-to-read language about ACP that you can customize and include in your organization’s newsletter (English, Spanish).

Text Messages

Brief messages that are ready to cut-and-paste into your existing texting platform (English, Spanish).

Broadcast Ads

Radio and video PSAs that can be shared with community members (English, Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese).

Out of Home Ads

Frequently Asked Questions

The toolkit also offers answers to a list of frequently asked questions concerning the ACP and its benefits, as well as the eligibility criteria and application process (English, Spanish).

CETF looks forward to collaborating with organizations and agencies that will be engaged in this initiative, which will help improve the lives of the individuals and clients they serve.
